As preparation for the new school year, my fellow year 1's and I returned to school the weekend before the school year began for a clean-up assembly. We wiped surfaces, swept and mopped floors and cleared the rooms of cobwebs. We each put in equal amounts of effort and worked collaboratively in order to complete the task we were assigned!
